Community Grants

The purpose of the grants is to partner with local communities to deliver men’s health awareness activities and initiatives in September 2010. These grants have been very successful in the past in locations across Australia, with each community deciding how to best reach the men in their unique setting, following the principles of partnership rather than paternalism. Foundation 49 and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia will support all applicants in accessing men’s health information that is relevant to them. The grants are up to the value of $2000.

Applications are now open for individuals and organisations who would like to apply for funding. The activities will need to have men’s health awareness including prostate cancer, as a part of the activity. To apply for a Men’s Health Community Grant, please read the Guidelines, and then fill in the 2010 Application Form, and return it to the Foundation 49 office by 25 June 2010 at 5.00 pm.

We wish you every success in your application and are looking forward to seeing all the fresh and innovative ways local communities deliver men’s health information.
