Prostate Cancer: Causes & Diagnosis
Prostate cancer is the second-most common cause of cancer-related death amongst Australian men. Despite this statistic, prostate cancer is not always life-threatening – particularly for men over the age of 70, and those with low risk disease, many die with the disease rather than because of it. Skin Cancer: Causes & Diagnosis
Skin cancer is more common in Australia than any other nation, proving that we’re a “sunburnt country” in more ways than one. Melanoma risk is generally highest in northern Australia and lower in southern areas, showing a correlation to exposure to ultraviolet radiation.

Alarmingly, the incidence of melanoma cases is growing rapidly, along with the number of deaths caused by this form of cancer. Indeed, among men, the death rates for melanoma are increasing faster than for any other cancer.
